    LYON, France (AP) - Thirty professors smashed down double doors
today and rescued 60 colleagues held hostage in a university lecture
hall by students who failed a science exam, witnesses said.
    The teachers were seized Tuesday evening by 20 students who failed a
test they said was too tough, and were being guarded by three of them
when the phalanx of rescuing professors burst in.
    No injuries were reported.
